There’s a very popular saying that a picture can say a thousand words and it proves to be very true for the advertisement world. Now AdWords is now ready to enhance the impact of images attached to the ads. AdWords is allowing the customers to attach image extensions to with their ads to let the internet users view the images with the ads. This extension is image extension beta, generally referred to as beta.

According to the giant search engine Google, around 17 percent of the search results are accompanied by images, thumbnails, videos etc. Advertisers have insisted for this feature so long so that every time a visitor tries to search them or their type of organizations, he may see the images and receive a better impression of the company. The search engine also feels that there are several things which can’t be depicted with a set of words. An image can be very beneficial in such a situation. We all know what impression an image can create.

Google has planned the strategy very carefully. The search engine is not going to display the images unnecessarily. It will allow them to show up only when viewers will intend to see it or it’s beneficial to them in any ways. For example it will suggest images with the search results of “latest models of air conditioning systems” instead of “nearest air conditioning system showroom”. You can simply guess the search results of the first keyword is more in need to be accompanied by relevant images. So Google will make sure that more and more appropriate images are displayed along with the search results of “latest models of air conditioning systems”.

But there are lots of considerations to be made while attaching an image to the ad. You have to make the selection with utmost care. The first thing to consider will be that the image goes with the ad perfectly. For example a picture of a car with a happy family sitting inside will be far better than a lady holding car keys in hands along with the ad of a car showroom. Though both are symbolizing the concern but the first one is definitely more appropriate. The next thing to be focused will be that the image is not protected by the copyright act. Using such an image can make you face some troubles like unwanted litigation or much worse. So you must pay good attention to this factor.

The Image Extension Beta is there for English only but fortunately it’s a global thing. Now you can use the power of images to make your AdWords ads even more attractive and impressive.
